Social Groups

We support many social groups with our system. There is any number of types of groups with all manner of reasons to be in existence. Where we help them is in the area of administration and visibility. Using Agoria allows the maintenance of the group's website to become easy and straightforward.

You don't need a high level of skill to run the website - all you do need is some basic knowledge of word processing and office style tools.

Most groups will have some sort of subscription or membership fee and without these fees to make a modest contribution to the running of the group - few could exist. Here again - the Activity Forum back office system helps the administrators to keep their lists up to date.

www.ivc.org.uk	The Association of Inter-Varsity Clubs is a national support body that has 40 groups throughout the UK with 3000 members. It uses ActivityForum to maintain a list of all the main Committee officers in each member club. It also publishes a list of inter-club events and information for the member clubs in an Agoria web site.

They provide social and leisure activities to graduates, professionals and others living in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas. Active Hampshire is also the main organising sponsor for the Basingstoke Cafe Scientifique science and technology debating group.
